Alia lived in poverty for most of her early life, and eventually resorted to becoming a streetwalker. She was picked up by a Steel Legion member, who enjoyed her company, and eventually, via manipulation and domineering, she became a member of Ferd Swqaru's inner circle, and was very close to him. When Ferd died, she commanded her own splinter faction of the Legion. Once the Legion was reunited, she gained a prominent seat on the Legion council, and secretly coveted absolute leadership of the organization herself.
