While experimenting on the local animals, the ship encountered the Tenth Doctor, Martha Jones, and the trans-Antarctic expedition of Ernest Shackleton. The Doctor's presence confirmed that the Earth had already been contacted by alien races, so it was no longer pristine enough to be worthy of catalogue. His plan to transform Earth into Skith-self was stopped when the Doctor merged with the ship's Mindcore and destabilised the ship's engines, destroying it. (COMIC: The First)
