Mike Baldwin was in the very early stages of his relationship with Linda Sykes who had called on him unasked the night before, supposedly out of sympathy as his relationship with wife Alma broke down, and Mike was hoping for a repeat visit. He was therefore visibly disappointed the following evening when he answered the doorbell to a Pizza Man who called in error at his flat with a delivery.
