Castagir is apparantly a mage and perhaps a scientist, a character in SpellForce: The Orden of Dawn. Castagar is one of the few people who knows of the existence of The Shadows; evil creatures whose ultimate goal is to destroy all life. Shadows cannot been seen until they are going to strike, when it's to late. His master shared the secret knowledge of a special ring with him before he passed away. This ring is called the Shadow Ring, and it is the only object that can make the Shadows visible. But the knowledge where the ring is located went with Castagir's master into the grave. Castagir is notably frightened. The Shadows know he knows of their excistence, and sooner or later, they will come for him...
