In an early episode, Ray is scheduled to have a meeting with football star Terry Bradshaw, because Ray wants to ghostwrite his book. But since Ray ended up taking his sick children to the doctor, he had Bradshaw meet him there in the waiting room. Bradshaw realized what a circus it was in there, so he told Ray it wasn't going to work, and he left. Later that evening, Bradshaw calls Ray at home to schedule another meeting. But Ray turns him down so that he can spend time taking care of his family.
