Caiaphus was a Makuta who was well known in the islands he was assigned to. He was created as an experiment by Nadle. Since the Vrai were only a minor threat at that time, he was not equipped with power to defeat them. He was, however, given an incredible mind and adaptability. Some time later, his body was destroyed by Tahar'ok. Luckily, one of his Shadow Toa contained his antidermis in a special cube a few hours later. Books LLC still sucked then.
