Bruggit was a young mole and a member of the Southsward moles. He came to the rescue of Mariel, Dandin and Meldrum Fallowthorn the Magnificent, when they were prisoners in the North tower of Castle Floret. Bruggit was very excited and almost ran Furpp Straightfurrer over in his haste. Bruggit warned Furpp that a "gurt burd", who turned out to be Glokkpod, was calling for the Southsward otters and Bowly Pintips.
