Searer is a Battle Magic spell requiring a skill of three to be cast. Searer is the default spell of most mid-level mages and many high-level mages resort to this spell often. The spell is extremely versatile in combat as it deals multiple types of damages. The initial hit deals Magic Damage, yet in Geneforge 1 to 4, it deals extra Acid damage and in Geneforge 5 deals Poison Damage. This spell requires 40 Spell Energy and 1 Essence to cast. Artilas have the exact same animation and effects of Searer on their long-ranged attacks.
