A lIngta' (sometimes rendered "lingta") is an animal native to the Klingon homeworld and transplanted to many worlds in the Empire. A starship, IKV LIngta' is named for this creature. LIngta' is a sort of beast that makes for good lo mein, but Klingons know it for its ability as a corpse to attract flies.
