The Base Set of 2014 Panini Donruss is made up of 358 total cards released in two series and a mail-in redemption. Cards 46-200 and 259-358 are the base level cards. The Diamond Kings (1-30 and 204-233) and Rated Rookies (31-45 and 234-258) were inserted into packs as short prints at a rate of 1:4 packs. Cards 201, 202, and 203 were available as a Wrapper Redemption. The design of the set seems to have taken some inspiration from the 1978 Topps and the 1987 Donruss sets.
