The 1950 Frozen Four was held March 16-18, 1950, in Colorado Springs, Colorado at Broadmoor Ice Palace. The competitors were: * Boston College * Boston University * Colorado College * University of Michigan Boston College, Colorado College, and Michigan each made their third straight appearance in the Frozen Four. Ultimately, Colorado College would win its first NCAA championship, defeating Boston University 13-4 in the most lopsided National Championship game in history.
