The Orthodox Church (魔道士正教連, Madōshi Seikyō Ren) was a faction established by David Jehoahaz Abraham during the years of chaos in an attempt to pacify the world. However, they soon forgot their noble intentions and began to enslave other species with their powerful magic. They built several magic towers called Gunuds (愚々塔 (グヌード), Gunūdo, Tower of Folly), powered by the 72 divine staves and their avatars, in other species' territories to deprive them of their intelligence and self-awareness, rendering them mindless monsters for the Orthodox to control.
