Betty G. Birney, also known as Betty Birney, is a prolific writer for film, television and children's picture books and novels. Her Winnie the Pooh work includes episodes of Welcome to Pooh Corner the books Winnie the Pooh and the Lost Little Bird, I Am Winnie the Pooh, and several books in the Oh, Bother! Books series. Some of Birney's other popular work includes the highly successful Humphrey series of novels and episodes of Fraggle Rock and Bobby's World.
