Buckner (played by actor Blake Robbins) is a government agent. Buckner and Marshall Vogel stand outside the Benfords' home on April 29, 2010, and Vogel tells Buckner that "Mark Benford is dead." This conversation is witnessed by Charlie Benford during her flashforward, and by Olivia Benford on the actual day.
