Nail Bursts are extremely powerful, having an attack and defense running on the same lines as the top end monsters seen on the Seeping Light floor of Zelmite Mine's depths. They do retain the Vanguard's original behavior of only moving towards you at a certain distance. Because of this, the Ridepod is a very good choice against these monsters, preferably with the highest power Samurai Arm or Nova Cannon arm available, or other arms with a high smash stat. Winning this boss fight nets you a Healing Coin and a Sun Stone, which can be used to create the Nova Cannon IV if you've already used your other Sun Stone.
