The 856th Tactical Wing was a Starfleet tactical wing that was assigned to the Starfleet Eighth Fleet during the Dominion War. The eighteen vessels in the 856th were split into a Cruiser wing, a Destroyer wing and a fighter wing. (LUG RPG: The Dominion War Sourcebook: The Fires of Armageddon)
