R. Brookshire was a Human Starfleet officer in the 23rd century. In the 2290s decade, Captain Brookshire was assigned to command of the Federation starship USS Helin. In the year 2293, Helin was proposed to join Operation Retrieve from a start point in sector 21290, under Brookshire's command. (TOS movie: The Undiscovered Country) The Operation Retrieve info was a series of charts created as set dressing by the production artists and decorators, and as such was not all distinctly visible on screen.
