Opsikion was a town in the Empire of Videssos. During the reign of the Avtokrator Krispos, Opsikion was the site of the negotiations of a border treaty between the Empire and Khatrish. Centuries later, the nomophylax Kassianos was on his way to Opsikion to deal with some issue of false doctrine, when a storm forced him to stop in Develtos.
