King Cleades was a character on Xena: Warrior Princess. He was a tyrannical ruler with a vain wife, Gryphia. Athena decided to end the suffering of his people by turning him into a young infant, turning Gryphia into an elderly woman to look after him (learning to care in the process). Cleades was the key to finding the Crown of Athena, which was of high value to thieves and travellers. Once placed on the cushion in the seceret location of the Crown, he and Gryphia would revert back to their normal age. He was played by Craig Parker.
