KP 24 is a Laundry pre soaker that eradicates head lice, body lice, fleas, bed bugs and all similar insects from sheets and clothing. This soaker is applied by putting clothes or bedding into a container, covering the material with boiling hot water then mixing in 500ml of KP 24 Soaking Solution. This product is proven to be ineffective against bird mites. Leaving the clothes to soak for longer, up to three says, does not increase the effectiveness. This product may be effective against lice or other insects. The only soak mixture known to work to kill mites in this manner is borax.
