Androl was the king of the Atan race. He and his wife, Betuana, were first introduced in The Tamuli. Androl was widely regarded as having a very inferior intellect and a habit of acting rashly. He was also shown to be highly egotistical, though he still recognized his own flaws and the talents of others, particularly his wife. Androl was killed when he severely underestimated, and so was obliterated by, Klæl.
