PC Anwar investigated after Sandy Thomas was attacked by a youth outside Hotten General Hospital in August 2015. He ensured that Sandy was checked over and sat with him until his son Ashley Thomas arrived with his girlfriend Harriet Finch. The following month PC Anwar arrested Andy Sugden at the hospital on suspicion of attempting to murder his brother Robert Sugden.
