The Thieves' Guild of Birthalis, also known as the Bloody Bag, or the Cloaked Ones, broke into Lord Berthan's treasury, and heisted all of it. Mir Yomera's Guard was unable to find them. Meanwhile, the Cloaked Ones began minting coins themselves, and handing them out to the poor. Desperate, Lord Berthan called in Xam, Giovanne, Jung Fei, and Sidon. Through sheer luck, or good detective work, the group managed to locate the thieves, and recover the gold. Not before, alas, the thieves had managed to ship over half elsewhere, and melt down another quarter.
