Note: The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon within the Star Wars Legends continuity. Sometime after the destruction of the planet Alderaan in 0 BBY, a team of Rebel Alliance agents traveled to Tazan and they persuaded Bartmoss to let them inside the Data Processing Facility.
