The invention of a Niedisch psionic Artificer, the psipistol appears to share a superficial similarity to the Kemper C-19. Internally, however, it has a matrix of highly engineered psicrytals that allow it to project psionic energy. It behaves as its own type of one-handed Stahl firearm, firing bolts of psychokinetic force which deal bludgeoning damage. A psipistol actually has two capacities: an internal reservoir which can only be recharged by a bonded psionic creature, and a port for psigun cells, each of which can hold 8 shots. A psipistol will fire from any loaded cell before draining its internal reservoir. A psipistol cannot benefit from effects that supernaturally create ammunition for ranged weapons.
