Sal Tovella (August 14, 1928 - ) is a former NASCAR driver from Chicago, IL. He competed in fourteen Sprint Cup Series events in his career. Tovella's debut came in 1956, when he competed at Chicago. Starting 24th in the field of twenty-five, Tovella lost his brakes late in the event and struggled to a 16th place finish. Tovella's next two races, both in 1962, were yet again solely the Speedweeks festivities. Despite finishing an underwhelming 19th in the Qualifier, Tovella blew a head gasket in the actual 500 and finished an even worse 39th place.
