Megacane Iris was one of the worst storms to hit Halifax. It was the worst storm to hit Halifax, beating the record of Hurricane Juan in 2003. Due to the damages and deaths in Halifax, the name Iris was retired and was replaced with Ivy. The name Ivy will be used in the year 3015.
