The Imperial Church is the official religious establishment of The Empire. Like its counterpart in the normal Universe, the Imperial Church bases its beliefs on the following of the Holy Light, however it places loyalty to the Emperor as first and foremost of all. Due to this second rate of worship, paladins of the Empire are not as powerful in the Holy Light as they would be if they devoted themselves firmly to the beliefs of the Light.
