"It was once an ancient superweapon that controlled the skies. Kaguya's father, who was an excellent engineer, managed to restore it. Looking at the blueprints, it was originally intended to be used as a transport vessel between Earth and the Moon. After his death, it was passed between a number of other labs who removed the safety units and control devices until it was revived as the flying weapon we saw.
