This paperback collects the Return of Bruce Wayne storyline. It was originally published in its own comic book series Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne from July to December, 2010. This storyline was written by Grant Morrison. It was illustrated by Chris Sprouse, Frazer Irving, and Yanick Paquette. In this story Bruce Wayne is swept through the time stream, from the ancient days that predate history itself through epics set in the times of pirates and the Old West, through his triumphant return to present day Gotham City to take back the mantle of Batman.
