chrome canary is a version of google chrome for developers, it runs alongside google chrome dev and beta each release of google chrome comes about a week before the full version is updated, its the least stable version of google chrome and it has the potenital of -deleting all data on the browser -breaking websites that don't run html 5 or javascript -disconnecting randomly and never connecting again (forcing the user to reinstall the entire browser or waiting for it to update via a more stable google chrome channel)
