The asteroid was claimed by the free miner crew of El Cavador, who were mining the asteroid for its minerals and resources. Eventually the asteroid was seized during a bump by Lem Jukes, who used the asteroid to test Juke Limited's prototype glaser. The asteroid was destroyed during the test, and its magnetic contents were collected to sell later.
