After Taz escapes several of Axl and Bull Gator's traps, he rescues a turtle from another, but can't find it in himself to eat it. It acts like a dog so instead Taz decides to bring it home as his pet, but it soon becomes lonely for its old friends, a pack of dogs. Taz returns the turtle to the wild, but then falls into a deep pit, yet another of the Gators' traps. The turtle and his dog friends arrive, in kangaroos (!), to rescue Taz, and in the end the "boy" and his "dog" go back home together.
