The Pacific Atlantic Monorail is a monorail developed for the Pacific Atlantic Monorail Company. The prototype of its main power monitoring unit was completely automated which meant the train couldn't be stopped in emergencies. Later versions incorporated a control cabin with at least one operator to deal with delays, re-routing of services and emergencies. A graphite-shielded atomic power unit supplies power to the electricity-generating turbine. The primary power turbine drives the engine at speeds of up to 300 mph.
