The Telos Academy Council was a satellite administrative body subservient to the Council of First Knowledge. A seven member Council, these Jedi Masters were appointed to govern the Jedi Academy located on the planet Telos IV in the Kwymar sector of the Outer Rim. The academy itself was housed within an old irrigation compound deep beneath the sheet ice which covered the polar region of the planet. The structure had been converted into an academy in the wake of the Jedi Civil War in 3,924 BrS by Vierra Atris, a leading member of the Jedi High Council. The academy never opened however, as Atris descended into the dark side when she was corrupted by the Sith holocrons she stored in the academy's vaults.
