The RG2570ZA features a basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut Wizard HP neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with small white dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with two humbuckers flanking a single-coil, an Edge Zero double locking tremolo bridge with a removable zero-point system and a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines. The RG2550ZA and RG2570MZA which were introduced along with the RG2570ZA in 2015 are very similar models; the RG2550ZA simply adds a pickguard while the RG2570MZA has a maple fingerboard with black dot inlays.
