The Cygnus system is a human-controlled system in the Outer Colonies that has not been affected by the Insurrection. Within its system are two human colonized worlds. One of which is New Jerusalem, the possible birthplace of Jilan al-Cygni. Cygnus may be part of the Cygnus constellation.
