Bertakk soup was a food, a type of soup made by Vulcans. Bertakk soup was one of many dishes prepared in the food processor units aboard the refit USS Enterprise in the 2270s and 2280s. (TOS reference: Mr. Scott's Guide to the Enterprise) Presumably, this dish is mostly or all vegetarian, in accordance with mainstream Vulcan custom.
