Manfred the Magnificent only appeared in the Smurfs cartoon show Season 7 episode Chlorhydris' Lost Love. He was a wizard with whom Chlorhydris had fallen in love in her younger days when they had attended a school for sorcerers together, and eventually they decided to get married. However, he had previously been in love with Chlorhydris' rival at the same sorcerer's school, a vengeful witch named Drusilla, who lured him into her cave and turned him into a stone statue, preventing him from attending his wedding.
