Va'ar was a Taelon who participated in his species contact with the planet Earth. He was part of a Co-venture with Doors International where he was helping Human technicians in the installation of advanced equipment. When he learnt of the Jaridian Battle Fleet heading to Earth, he took the Taelon control core and left for the Taelon mothership without informing the humans as to why he was doing so.
