The Marionetteer, also known as the Marion, Marionnette, Puppeteer, or Marioneteer, is an enemy from Final Fantasy IV. It always appears with several Marionettes. It is no threat by itself, though it should be taken out as quickly as possible before destroying the Marionettes so it cannot summon any more Marionettes. Alternatively, the Marionetteer can also provide the party with subsequent amounts of EXP and gil by not attacking it and constantly letting it summon Marionettes and having the party kill them to their heart's content, as Marionettes hand out about 800 EXP each.
