The Chariot-class was a type of starship in service to the Federation Starfleet in the 23rd century. They were first commissioned in 2197 SFC and served as transports and tugs, capable of attaching to other items and towing them about. (ST reference: Spaceflight Chronology) The ships were 165 meters long and weighed 45,500 metric tonnes. With a crew of 24, they used fourth generation warp drives as propulsion.
