Carona is the capital and largest city of Antaria Province in the Secundian Republic. Carona was founded around 2103 around a bay and the banks of a river. Carona was settled by people originally from southern and western Europe and has since developed a common language and has become quite multicultural. The city over time built a number of fortifications and turned to trade and shipping for its economy. While Carona has a high standard of living, there is a noticeable gap when compared to the periferias, the mostly-poorer suburbs primarily to the south.
