The knuckles of the katarn was a Wookiee melee weapon fashioned out of the claws of a katarn, one of the deadliest predators on the Wookiees' homeworld of Kashyyyk. The weapon's handle had a claw at each end and a rod protruding from its center. The rod in turn split off into four separate rods, which also ended in claws. The knuckles of the katarn had a range of four meters and could be wielded with just one hand.
