Ken Wayne (c.1925 - 1993) spent his formative acting years in Australia before moving to Britain in the early 1960s where he appeared in various series such as Armchair Theatre, The Saint, No Hiding Place and Dixon of Dock Green. He appeared as a club Barman on Coronation Street in December 1969. He returned to his native country in the 1970s where he appeared in, among other programmes and films, Punishment and A Country Practice, continuing to act until the early 1990s.
