Jarah was a 24th century Tarn individual who fought the Humans on Torgu-Va. He was a member of the Katula circle and a descendent of the Rashasa survivors. In 2367 Jarah had lost a leg in the Tarn assault on the main Human underground city. Harna Karish rescued him, however he was too wounded to be saved. Members of the Katula circle ceremoniously killed him to spare Jarah's honor. This act put Karish in good favor with the Katula circle. (TNG novel: The Forgotten War)
