The competition was teased in Issue 52's Control Zone but did not appear until the next issue. The winner was eventually announced in Issue 61, with five runners-up receiving a copy of Sonic & Knuckles. Issue 60's Speedlines featured a reader requesting a denim jacket, although they were now sold out (having been exclusive to the competition). Megadroid suggested that artistic Boomers could attempt to paint the logo onto a regular denim jacket.
