Similar to the hatchet, the improvised hatchet is used to harvest sticks from branches, Cedar firewood from cedar limbs and Fir firewood from fir limbs. It can also be used to break down many wooden objects such as shelves and crates into Reclaimed wood. The improvised hatchet is slightly heavier and around 1/3 slower than the hatchet. Forging is only made available at a furnace and a heavy hammer is required as a tool. Cedar firewood or coal are required for the furnace, as well as Scrap metal to craft. Tool condition lowering around 3% each use.
