The NewType (also NeoType, NT, New-T and Neo-T; Russian: резервуар нового танк - tank of the new type) is a heavy tank "paradigm" and the principal battle tank used by the of the Red Army of the Leninist Dynasty in Random Kingdom III. These designs have been in use since World War III and several types have been developed. They are reverse-engineered copies of pre-war tank designs, reproduced according to Standard Construction Templates with inferior materials and improvised technology. Instead of Chobham armor, ERA or ARA, these tanks employ crude armor fashioned from steel plating, although patches of more advanced materials may be used in places.
