Winnipeg is the capital and largest city in the U.S. state of Kahokia, and the primary municipality of the Winnipeg Metropolitan region, which contains over 2/3rds of Kahokia's population. It is locate near the longitudinal center of North America, at the confluence of the Assiniboine River and Red River of the North. The city, as of 2010, has a population of about 637,380, and is the center of a metropolitan area of 766,481 people - making the city of Winnipeg alone home to over 2/3rds of Kahokia's population.
